American Consumer Products was established in 1992 under the name of Alliance Consumer Industries in Los Angeles. Within four years, it acquired a sophisticated modern and large facility in Los Angeles from International Cosmetics and Pharmaceutical Company (ICPL), hence, enabling introduction of many new product lines and diversification into HBC, OTC Pharmaceuticals and Household Cleaner.

Private label and contract packaging products were contracted for a large number of clients, which ranged from Family Dollar Stores to Safeway/Vons supermarkets, Kroger and many more. The company was taken public in 1998 on Nasdaq Small Cap Bulletin Board, Ticker (ACIL).

The Company was acquired by Aaron Industries in 1999, to expand their East Coast operation into West Coast.
